Apologies if this has been asked and answered already, but simply too many posts to go through.
I'm trying to get info on how to get into tractor hauling. You know, those guys that deliver new trucks piggyback to the dealers. I'm not exactly a newbie but did OTR for five years and want to avoid getting back to it if possible (let's just say it burnt me out, and I'm not good at that nomad stuff). I've heard stories that tractor hauling makes decent money, they cover your airfare and motels, and you get to actually DRIVE a bit.
I have a clean record, still know the roads and regions, and don't mind pushing it, if the money is on the back end. Too many truck jobs it's mostly push and no pay. I'm not out there cuz I'm bored at home and want to 'stay busy'. I have hobbies for that. The idea is to make more than you spend. Any info, good or bad, would be helpful.
