That's basically how it was when went to the booth, up until he filed out the yellow paper and said I had to proceed over to the cargo inspection building. That's when I found out that the broker didn't attach the manifest to the pars numbers

One of the wonders of that place to me was brokers have manifests stacked to the ceiling in the rooms and they reach, pick the revelant one, give to you to stamp at the customs desk and be on your way.
I would imagine some of that paper is probably yellowing to this very day in some of those corners. You would think with computers there will be no more paper. But noooo we have to choke on it. -
Detroit Windsor is called the ambassador bridge. Peace bridge is between buffalo and fort erie. If you come in at Windsor and they decide you are going to the off site inspection yard (same as us side we just have a place not exactly at the border) you will be given directions and escorted there. Do not try to take the tunnel. You will not fit and you won't know you won't fit until you get to the bend in it you can't make.
I don't know about broker paperwork. That's their business. Do it all electronic now and I very rarely have to talk to them. It really is a smooth system once you get the hang of it.upnorthwpg Thanks this. -
