    I don't see a problem then.

You best call in prior to trying to cross to double check that.

You should be fine. Calling does nothing. They will not give you an answer. It’s the immigration officer you deal with at the port that has the final and only say. That said, I think you will have no issues. Be honest, look them straight in the eye. They will send you to secondary, for the conviction and a truck inspection since it’s your first time up. Make sure your entry is on the electronic system with a lead sheet.... 3000 fine now if it’s not. I cross the border five nights a week for 18 years now, they are not a bad bunch.

I was told I'll have to have cash to cross back over unless me bank card can be used. Anything on that?

Yes. Us customs truck fee. I believe it’s 13.40 or around there.

    x1Heavy and Gunner75 Thank this.

    FYI
Make sure you have an inward cargo manifest if your crossing back at Champlaine. Even if you're empty fill one out and write empty on it. They use that paper to let you out of the gate.

If you cross at Detroit, 1000 islands, or Port Huron you don't need an inward cargo manifest if empty.

If you're oversized going to QC you have to have the red and white "D" banner, "oversize load" will NOT work. Your speed limiter must also be set at 65 mph.

My knowledge is obsolete on this. You might consider that you need a passport to get back into the USA. I don't know for sure.

In my time prior to 9-11 two words in answer to the Immigration Customs challenge citizen ship is United States and that's enough to get across. Maybe a search or two, really quickly. Truck is empty so.. let's go.

9-11 changed everything. And then there is the real ID act of 2020. You might require a enhanced CDL (Essentially a gold star that permits entry to federal buildings and boarding domestic flights... but I dont know if it includes passage back to the USA...)

If you are not declaring anything there should not be a duty to get importing stuff or cash over 10,000 back into the USA.
