yeah i've seen people being refused entry to Canada just for having a DUI on that Border Guard TV show, so best go check with the Canadian authorities first before you try crossing it will save you alot of unwanted hassles.
-
Lol. Might want to read before you post.gokiddogo Thanks this.

See. You're just like the rest of us!magoo68, Ezrider_48501 and bigguns Thank this.

Sounds like you just need to attach your pars to your trip number...which is done by whoever made your aci lead sheet.
Ezrider_48501 and rank Thank this. -
Did it mention anything of a timeframe on DUI. Or the procedure on how they found out?????
I don't really care to semi up there but wouldn't mind harleying up there some summer. -
Sounds like they're on top of it but usually the trucking company is responsible for preparing the Canadian E-manifest and send it to the driver before he gets to the border. The driver then presents the E-manifest cover page (lead sheet) to the customs officer.
If you just showed up with a customs invoice and no E-manifest lead sheet then yeah that's not going to fly. -
They can see all your arrests. Canada and USA trade information with each other about people who cross or attempt to cross the border.
For dui I don't believe there is any time limit on it. Also it doesn't matter what vehicle you are in, this is one of those things that falls under officer discretion. -
Yeah lead sheet should have all the info on it.
Driver name
Truck number and plate #
Trailer number and plate #
Trip number
Pars number with entry code + customer in canada
(Multiple if you have more than 1 shipment)
That way you know the shipments that are attached to the trip number. It has to be to generate that lead sheet.
