Well, im in Putnam County, the red light was in Clay County. I'll ask a few road deputies. See what they say. I work in Corrections so i dont have too much experience with patrol. -
To Be Clear, even if all evidence show you have paid the ticket, city acknowledges payment of ticket, keep evidence of paying that ticket forever. Take a photo, for example, of your check/money order beside the ticket, along with stamped envelope. Email that photo to yourself or others. Or email a pdf of your bank statement to your self. Or write clerk of the jurisdiction after they've gotten your payment and ask for letter confirming payment. Whatever you think will work. It's really ugly if a small ticket becomes license suspension and hundreds of dollars, simply because the jurisdiction lost your payment or mis-labeled your file.
I think this is all tracked in the National Drivers License Registry, or something similar. Notice I didn't say it's fair, or I like how this might work. That's just the way this is.
I definitely got "flashed" making a right turn after a definite stop. I drove past that intersection every night, saw the progress installing the new camera. Approached with caution, made a longer than normal stop before making the right on red and it flashed during the turn. I've never heard anything about it and haven't found any record of a ticket.DrtyDiesel and 123456 Thank this. -
i wouldnt worry about if it didnt flash it didnt take your picture besides as others have said in florida it dont go on ur license it is just like getting a parking ticket
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
If it did take a picture it got your face as well as the tag.

Cover your face with a newspaper/ballcap/your hand so it doesn't show and you cannot be id'd. No Id, no ticket. And sending it to the registered owner won't hold up in court.

It was dark outside, and I've seen them flash before. It didn't flash when I went through. Plus they only take a picture of the rear of your vehicle. If they did take a pic of the front my window tint is way to dark for them to see through -
I graduate from law school next friday.
Look for my ad on TV channel 20 at 3:00AM next saturday !!!!
just kidding, let us know what Putnams finest suggest.
I believe you have nothing to worry about.
Similiar questions... http://jacksonville.com/opinion/blo...-do-red-camera-traffic-lights-work-right-handDrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
One of the Deputies I spoke with said I should only receive a fine. No points and no citation on my MVR. That is if I even got a pic taken of my license plate. We'll see in a week or so. I won't lose any sleep over it.123456 Thanks this. -
Those ------- things are everywhere up here in the Chicago area, and how it works here, may not be the case in FL, is as long as you have crossed the stop line when the you are flashed you will not be issued a ticket. And yes those do generate alot of revenue for cities.
