I don't how to explain this. Um, I was involved in a accident while at the controls of a CMV that happened back in 2006, the company I was with is no longer in business. I'm wondering if the insurance from the company paid for the incident? I am wondering if anyone has been thru a similar situation and how can I go about finding out? I did call a lawyers office that specializes in helping truckers.

Why are you concerned about this now... 10 yrs after the fact?

What ever happened has happened by now. Personally not sure what to tell you. Other than an indepth record search I doubt it would ever come up. I could be wrong on this.. but far as I am aware.. insurance only looks back 3 - 5 yrs.

    Did you kill someone?

No one was killed and I am not being sued. I am not looking for insurance at the present time. I was ticketed for changing lanes when this accident supposedly happened. I apologize in advance because this incident happened in 2006 and I am having some "brain farts".

If you have a copy of the police report it should give the insurance information. If you don't you will have to get that from the responding police department.

Call the insurance company, they may be able to assist you.

After reading some of the things people have posted here on TTR, nothing surprises me any more. People will post and talk about things I would never dare make public.
