Are you talking about the abs warning light in the dash or in the rear side of trailer?

Dash. I never get an ABS light on the trailer.

@IraqRalph and Western Flyer, thanks for the crafty replies about pulling bulbs and taping over the light but I need to fix this properly. I've done this stuff on old personal vehicles but am not going to try to fool it at the risk of DOT citations.

ABS module located under central dash console. To reach to this SOB you need to open fuse cover and remove all plastic down from here. Ash tray and radio I think. The ABS module is a top one.
ABS module could be programmed to communicate with trailer ABS thru the center wire. It sends messages forth and back. Make sure trailer and truck ground connection is good.
I have seen trucks with ground cable from frame to fifth wheel to have good ground between.
To deeper diagnostic need to run software test.
Dealer is expensive like hell, go buy adapter for $300 the soft ACOM diagnostic is free from Bendix.
ACom will allow you to check and calibrate ATS, Steering wheel and lot of other tings.
Never remove or mask trailer ABS light. It should light on for 2-3 seconds every key on. If not - DOT will give you a ticket.

The ABS trailer light should come on for a couple seconds and turn off,Everytime you turn the truck key on.

Snailexpress gave you more information about your truck than I could.
    Good luck.

Thanks for the info guys. All that is good to know but I didn't have to dig that far. It was the 40 amp maxi-fuse in the fuse box under the hood. I shoulda checked the fuses before I made this thread but I couldn't believe it was just a fuse.

Every time I've had ABS issues with a vehicle it has been much more complicated so i didn't even suspect anything as simple as a fuse.

    Moving on.....thanks again.
