Then NY should be full of Oak.
Rip a plank from the old deck carry it to the yard and tell them you want oak this big. Or they can special order apitong in the numbers of planks (You did count them right?) that you need.Dino soar Thanks this. -
Any trailer shop would have it

If you get oak make sure it's dry, as in kiln dried. Even air dried is better than green.
Green oak will shed a lot of water, shrink, and split.
In our area the price for kiln dried oak is about half of what apitong would cost.x1Heavy, jamespmack, D.Tibbitt and 2 others Thank this. -
We use apitong where I work..we pay about 150 a board when we redeck trailers, but it holds up pretty well hauling outfield equipment. We have to special order it
x1Heavy, singlescrewshaker and cke Thank this. -
North east great Dane on 94 in Florida should be able to get it for you. If you’re using it for pallets of stone and brick, you might as well go oak. It’ll be cheaper in the long run in my opinion; If you’re using the trailer for something that is lighter and less likely to tear up the deck in and of it’s self, Apitong would probably be more worthwhile long term. -
