    lol, you've never backed a trailer with 8' axles down a 8.5' dirt cemetery road with 1,000# granite headstones on each side have you? I find convex mirrors are a must, and just good spatial awareness. But I am confident I can pick this up pretty easily now. Thanks for all the advice.

    I think you'll do just fine, and you'll even have one up on your classmates. You'll still have to learn shifting and the other things which go with truck driving, but it shouldn't be a problem.

    My cousin used to drive truck before he went back to construction. I'll be camping with him this weekend and picking his brain about everything before I leave for school sunday.
