Trailer leveling valve

    Out of curiosity- why does flipping 180 make a difference? I honestly don’t know.

    Because the valve would exhaust when it was supposed to be inflating and vise versa.

    That is why I had ask if the new valve was bolted to the same side of the bracket as the old one in your picture….

    Should not/ does not matter. Install instructions say nothing about this end up or any arrow showing install direction. And one port is not marked Intake and the Other Exhaust. They are both marked I/E. Note that I/E ports can be either Intake or Exhaust depending on which way the valve is installed. But the SUPPLY Air LIne has to be on top and exhaust on the bottom.

    Kinda depends on which side of the valve the lever comes off doesn't it?

    If that diagram is for the new valve, then the green and black lines are reversed from what is in your picture.

    No, as long as the Supply/Intake is on top it does not matter which way the lever is pointed.

    Thanks for all replies. Got new one installed exactly the same as in picture. Works 100% again. These can be mounted either way. Project complete. thanks
