When I flip my light switch down to run just marker lights on truck and trailer, the lights on truck work but none of the lights work on my trailer. I've bought a new switch and put it in thinking it was the switch but im back to square one. If anyone has an idea let me know thanks!

Nobody knows what truck you are talking about. You posted in the freightliner section--and that's just about all.

Post your year, make, model, and last 6 of vin if you want any reasonable help.

Fist thing is the pigtail getting power? Is the pigtail plug on the tractor getting power for those lights? Is it all the lights o (i.e. brake also, or just the marker lights?)

Did you do the simple things like check the proper fuses?
