I’m working on that; there’s a gas station in my town and the owner said I could park there (it’s more than big enough) and there’s no ruffians in my town smart enough to drive a semi trailer

Well it looks like I’ll be parking at the gas station I’m referring to and leaving the truck there as recommended

    buddyd157 and G13Tomcat Thank this.

Buy a used bike and padlock it somewhere out of sight at the gas station. Use that to get to and from the truck. Crank the landing gear down on the trailer and remove the handle.

Make sure the trailer is empty or pay the owner to let you back it up against the building. You do not want your cargo stolen or you will be the prime suspect.

I once had an emergency and HAD to get to the ER. This was in 2011 about a year before my retirement and the issue was the beginning of my medical issue. I could NOT get a cab and the place where I was would not carry me. My company had a don't separate policy too. I did that evening and took care of my problem. From time to time a driver has to do what they have to do. Before you drop that trailer though, make sure you have exhausted all the options.
