Who's using one?
Pros?
Cons?
It would kill any front overhang but sure would be tidier than a tractor mounted cab guard. All my equipment is on the trailer already so that part wouldn't change for me. Not using a cab guard at all at the moment.
Trailer mounted bulkhead without a side kit.

We put them on when we haul sod. They are a pain to crawl over to get on the trailer is my biggest complaint. I take it off as soon as I get home.
-
Some simple bars put in the right place can make it so that you get around it very easy.
Those same bars could be used as a low ladder. -
Ours are made out of if I remember correctly 2" square tubing. Still a pain to crawl over.
-
They are a pain in the rear. I have nothing to say about them that is positive. Climbing up them to mess with tarps, chains, or anything else is difficult and dangerous for us shorter folks.
-
MJ,the trick is not to go over but around(when empty)
I had no problem with them.
At the corners we did have holes where you could put a hand in.
And our trucks you could stand on just before the trailer.
Stand just before the trailer, put hand in hole, swing round, put 1 foot on trailer then second.
Understand what i mean?
@Nightgunner
If they are build in the right way they are much safer then a headache rack. -
I know what you mean. I would break my neck attempting that maneuver.
-

I used to do that maybe 20 times in a day.
The only thing you cannot do..................is pollish the surface off what you stand on, on the truck.

MJ1657 Thanks this. -
Just grab hold of it like a cow's udder. You'll look like an old pro.passingthru69 and MJ1657 Thank this.

They are in the way more than useful in my book.
