Many times match is just not the paint. Some colors require different base colors of gold, silver, etc. Those trailer panels are probably prepainted NPR ( no primer required ) type paint. The old aluminum primer I recall was kind of army or maybe puke green. I saw factory built trailers become checker boards in about 5 years. They had aluminum doors on both sides of steel trailers. The color change between the steel and aluminum was large.
Some paint does not cover well and requires the correct primer.
My suggestion is to buy some aluminum flashing and experiment. When you like the match tape off the scratch and paint only that. Then you do not have to worry mismatched spray bomb over spray next year.
