Trailer Registration ..how does it work?

    I’m pretty sure you have to have a physical address in the state you register a tractor in.

    We are based in TN and all of our trailers have TN plates except one. TN is a lifetime plate. One is registered in OK, which is a lifetime. I don’t recall why, but when we bought our Talbert new, the dealer suggested we tag it in OK.

    I'll second this advice. I took the advice of people on this forum and switched to maine/staab. Super easy. solves a variety of problems. etc.
