I have a 1996 combo that I'm afraid is coming close to useful end. Still good shape but its getting old. 2008 is like new. A 53 more than likely never "Hauled Iron". My 96 has "hauled Iron" might have had a coil or two but no guy hauling coils day in day out pulled a 53'!

stwik Thanks this. -
2008 is plenty new. Just check the frames real good for hairline cracks and etc. the 53’ is a nice trailer to have. Many times when a market is slow and that good load comes through but it needs a 53’. A 53 will also make LTL’ing more of a better reality too.
Only reason I see the need for all aluminum if you have customers or plan to load in that 45,000lb range and up.
25k is a decent price for that brand. I would like to see it closer to 20k. Mac should retain its resale value too.insanityeight and Tug Toy Thank this. -
