Do they have dump valves? You would think those guys would ask for some closed tandems to atleast save on tires. I wish my company used ritenours, were stuck with these junk manacs...

They do indeed have dump valves. I have to rewire my secondary pigtail for them to work, the new trailers have to have a constant hot centerpin on the primary pigtail for the abs...but that works with the secondary pigtail for the dump valve. Maintenance supervisor explained it to me, not sure if I reexplained it well :/ mine worked on the older trailers w dump valves, I'm used to not using it so I'll do it when I feel I have to have it.
I guess the sliders they had were on lease, which is up. Would have been nice to keep a few around for city only, but somehow they seem to work their way out, then someone ends up loading over 52k on them (they are all steel, like 13,500) and sends a pic of the scale ticket to safety to prove a point lol (not me!) oh well, I prefer a spread anyway. -
PS 13,500lbs is a 48x102 flat, transcraft all steel, apitong floor, steel wheels, 16 winches w straps and a 4' steel headboard, with 2 8' lumber tarps.
