Trailer weight

    I had the same question at my work a few years back a d got 3 different answers ranging from (Gross Weights of:) 80,000 lbs, 87,500 lbs to 91,000 lbs. So I did some research and found this video where he mentioned the spread difference for maximum weight on a tandem 53' ft trailer.

    My mistake, I was looking at his join date.
    Generally speaking, if you load 1000 lb per foot of trailer to no more than about 48,000 lb payload on tandem axle trailers. On tri-axle trailers, load the front half at 1,000 lbs per foot and the rear half to 1,200 lbs per foot.
