That TYFON was so loud in the vid across my stereo (windows open) I had guys across the deck looking. Ha!
“Loud” is somewhat subjective. It’s a question of being heard (warning signal).
I’ve added the four-note Cadillac horn set to several vehicles over the years. Great sound (diminished seventh). Works town or country.
Autobahn speed requires “piercing” sound (HELLA Supertone). A deep sound isn’t always the thing.
(Today was researching more. A set of Cads for sons SUV and mine to do. That Cad horns work WHEN they’re mounted in fenderwells. Resonance. Will the Hellas mounted in grill Subaru style help pierce the fog? Already own a set. Hmmm Disharmonious? Etc).
All they have to do is hear it.
Yeah, big trucks need at least one trumpet on roof.
Horns are like headlight color. Get it right. -
The really killer horns were in the Tom Cruise War of the Worlds. (See change pitch tripod vid).
Ha! Just found a company with a car horn for sale plays a clip of the above thru a small PA speaker. (Boomblaster).
Hit ‘em with a touch of mid-range and deep from a good multi-note set . . . and let this echo.
Sitting behind them at the light they cut in front of you last moment.
What happens the light turns green . . . ?

Train horns and shaved roofs are for f-a-g-s

No I'm not. Train horns are obnoxious and irritating. Shaved roof with a row of marker lights is illegal and not considered class 8 identification lights by DOT. Plus it's just my opinion, I don't like the look. I'm not 100% against the look just not for my truck.
Hey wait a minute. Where'd you get that picture, that's my truck. -
Gonna have to provide a link for where you get the row of cab lights on top are not DOT legal
-
What sort of a row of cab lights are you thinking isn't DOT legal?
