Ok I'll start, I doubt this dudes permits include in route a tight right turn around Train tracks with a million foot long load

Wow that’s intense.. thanks for sharing video.
Kenworth6969 Thanks this. -
Driver should have never proceeded across that crossing. He got off permitted route and had to know it wasn't enough room to make the turn.
And maybe a call to the RR w the crossing number may have let them know it wasn't a good time to try. -
I think what we may have here... is a lack of communication!
Flat Earth Trucker, Coffey, Mattflat362 and 6 others Thank this. -

Well, I'm not listening to 6 minutes of "Oh my God", all this shows is how is a clear example of "can't happen to me", and a total lack of responsibility on the drivers part, AND the shmuck lead car( with a big bag of cheese doodles on the seat). I read, one of these blades costs between $100 and $125 THOUSAND dollars, plus the truck and , well, the train is probably okay, but 1/4 million dollar screwup, at least. I don't know, back in MY day, we had a shred of responsibility, even if it was a load of toilet paper.
AND THE REAL KICKER? Insurance will handle it all, it will trickle down into our pockets, and this driver will be back behind the wheel, I'm sure the excuse "wasn't my fault", should be good enough.bentstrider83 and beastr123 Thank this. -
well i agree that he must have been off route, but do we really know that for sure.??
next, he stopped, for several minutes, THEN, started to pull through.
i think, "take your chances" and he should have just taken out the RR crossing gates, and anything else, THEN, let the insurance company handle things.
may have "been cheaper" to just plow on thru.
if tickets were to be issued?
go to court...
we really do not know for sure, he was off route.
might be, in THAT particular town, that was the ONLY way to go.bentstrider83, WildTiger1990, Bud A. and 3 others Thank this. -
I am curious…how do you all know that the driver is off route?
