Really? My girlfriend had classes out of the transportation building by the tracks, one day as I was picking her up I had a chance to talk to a few students milling around outside, and all told me they was very happy with how the training was going.
Maybe I should reconsider. My major thing was I wanted a low students:trainer ratio, and Trainco seem to have that. I definitely appreciate the advice of staying away, what company does training in Willard? I will have to look into them... -
I just took my test in Willard I went to Trainco for the schooling but that was before they hooked up with Owens CC
To many people were in my class and we were pushed throughTwiztid_Trucker Thanks this. -
How long ago did you attend them prior to them moving to their Owens location?
edit: I found where you had said in a previous post, 3 years ago. Think I am going research some other schools here in Ohio before committing. I appreciate the forewarning. -
Willard isnt a school.. Its the Highway Patrol or something that does the testing. Yes.. It is better because they are a lot more lenient than the schools are with their testing (they see it as a career for people.. I cant explain it but being from Medina I know this). You need your own truck to test with them.

Trainco hires instructors that only have 2 years experience driving a truck.
I'm about the only one, but I don't think that is enough time.......... -
Sir I know the differance When you are tested at Trainco it is NOT the people whom train you that test you for your CDL
The test site that Trainco uses is just like the test site that Willard has it is not owned by Trainco You can rent a truck at the test site at Willard I was going to use my truck but I ended up useing the one they had there -
I am going to be researching other schools here in Ohio, Trainco doesn't seem to think PTDI is important for them to pay for anymore, which is a concern to me.
123456 Thanks this. -
Do you need to go to a school here in Ohio?
-
Well that I am confused upon, can I attend classes outside the state and transfer the cdl back to Ohio, or do I need to be tested in my home state? I assumed the latter.
