Trainer doesnt show up

This becomes even more of an issue for female students. I’ve seen them just be sent home from orientation to wait for a call. There’s a shortage of trainers willing to train women.

It’s not that there aren’t people who can or would. But the financial and personal risk are just to high for men to even try now.

I’ve teamed with experienced women (not a spouse or girlfriend). But I refused to train a woman when I was a trainer. And looking at current events. I made the right call.

Call me sexist, accuse me of discrimination if you want. But I still have my job and my SO.

 

This is morphing the topic a bit. I'm not going to name the carrier, the state or the man's name. I know of a trainer that was convicted and sent to prison because a female student said he raped her. I was asked several times to train. I could have made a lot more money if I had. I made a decision to not train. I won't say I would never train a female. However I don't see myself doing it. If I were an active driver today and I trained, there is NOWAY in heck I would allow a female in my truck. I would toss the company my truck keys first. The pendulum has swung way too far to make all men automatically guilty.

Because if that trainer has been trapped in that mess. He’s going to run his ### off the next 2-3 weeks lol

No, I worry about getting her into the hotel without having to Super 14 it.

And I worry that some schmuck parks his car blocking access to the truck parking area so I have to park on the street. Or worse, blocks me IN the truck parking area.

And I worry the continental breakfast won't have sprinkled donuts.
