Normally I would too, but based on this guy being pretty calm and fully explaining the situation.....I'm going with his side. Had he been angry and complained and talked down the company, trucking, or the trainer.....then I wouldn't entertain his thoughts. We have all seen it on here lots of times. You can pretty much tell the crap from the truth, in my opinion.
If that is it you tell the company he is not fit to drive .And of course he can't down shift back up and all that is why he is with a trainer . You don't call him names put up with him and send him out on his own to b a danger
Your trainer is suppose to teach you .... Not treat you like that. And take you under there wing. But there are drivers out there that do the training to make the big dollars. Those guys are not trainers
I believe in that but I need more coaching driving this truck... I am just. Not there yet to fake it till I make it and there is a lot of subtle things going that are happening and becomeba major jam if not aware... it is an amazing feat driving the big truck....a little bit liken golf where you would think all there is to it is aim and distance...but dont try that stuid game because it will drive you crazy
I actually feel really lucky to be at prime... the equipment is awesome and the pay better and it s a real drag hearing this guy go on and on about how much he hates prime... and not that a a cheerleader would be less annoying but at least it would be positive.
His side of thr story will include a major error I made that was totally my fault ajd could have been a disaster... what happened was that he woupd get mad and yell if I sowed down before ramps... and I had been driveng for seven hours because he wanted a rollling 34 ...we decided to go to A truck stop and I dlcame in too fast until the entrancr and thr ramp was really short and I froze and then reacted and hard breaked... now... a lot of yellling and night driving and I was at fault and I could get fired... he would also mention an instance where I did not know what to do with a merging car. And honked the horn... he is all abiut going the speed limit and not below and being a truck driver not a primate and if I go slower he gets mad and he waits until I am in trouble ton get livid And I know I messed up big time...I know that and if I get fired so be it and inhave three days and we have been driving team with no breaks...me at night. Snow..hillsreally tired...no showers
Ezzzzzzcuuussseeee moi..... maybe you guys have not learned to downshift yet...but I can do that quite well... There is that little thing about dumping the clutch when I get nervous though....
Does not read signs and does not listen and does not pay attention he will say...but he does nt make the burden easier by telling me what to look for....by being clear... by pre planning...by repeating...and everything he is in anger
Talk to your FM tomorrow morning. If push comes to shove you can have an interview with Steve L. over this, and the couple of incidents. I'd say if you ask for a different trainer, you'll get one. All TnT folks get the chance to grade their trainers, so you should be able to give some feedback on this clown.
I am sure Mr Lowe has more pressing things to do than this nonsense...and I rather meet him on a positive note... my fm has been around the block and he probably has been waiting for exactly what is happening right now... I have a feeling I am a pawn on a bigger scheme and its ok... I can take one for the team
