Take one for the team? You've got to be kidding! You should be talking to your FM at least on a weekly basis during training, so give him a call and let him in on what is going on in that truck. BTW that's Steve Larson.
There are some basic standards of HUMAN conduct that every individual should expect and demand in all situations. if this basic standard is not met, there is a HUGE problem. I'll let you be the judge of this first statement. If it is a problem, talk to the FM about the Instructor's conduct. There are some expectations that a student should have from his/her instructor. Being taught the basics of entering/exiting the highway/truckstop/rest area should be one of them. If the instructor is not communicating in a calm rational way, it might be a good conversation starter with the FM and Mr Larson. If the basic necessities of life are not being provided, IE: Food, water, shelter, and SHOWERS, you should just ask your FM at what point in training should you expect to be allowed to eat, drink, sleep, or get clean. If the Instructor is driving on your logs, or is NOT in the passenger seat while you are driving... You should be notifying anyone at Prime INC immediately. If you are in TnT phase, disregard this one.
His truck is filthy outside too and there is stuff all over his dash and we have not pre trip or post trip once even though we keep punching it in.. or done a single brake check that is why I don't want to go onbduty and log lies... I am old fashion that Wayne's This was in response to a previous post abiut how if vBulletin the truck look clean out....
I am a c class not sure about phase. ..I am fresh out of cdl school and I call it that because it was nothing else and when he asked I told him and anyone who has asked...and I do not grind gear...well...on inclines its not as smooth if youb want to get real picky
Actually. .. I am bummed that I cannot work it out because I would really like t learn fromsomeone withas much experience as this guy...but its not personal itbhas really b ecome dangerous due to levels of unnecessary stress he brings at critical moments and the
You're in TnT, and he should be teaching you how to do these things properly. CDL school pretty much gives you just enough to get by a state driving test, and that's it. IMO, your trainer is a clown, and you need to get out of that particular situation. Call your FM, and discuss it with him.
And he is an awesome driver and a stickler for flicking lights to let other truckrrs know they are clear and many othrr qualities...I just think he is going through something very dark and deep and I am not in the position to hold that bag while learning the big truck...because these trucks are reaaaallly biiiig...
