I'm... A little confused. New trainer. No new trainer. Keeping a low profile and leaving the forum... Talking about "agitators" ...???

What's to be confused about... or so intrigued... but I will try to explain... it was very unsettling being in the truck with someone I did not know and who acted weird in a bad way and the forum was a great way to get feedback and not go totally crazy... I have another thread going which I feel is more constructive about tips for brand new drivers... please contribute...
There are thousands of threads that are diaries already...

Me thinks the problem was the student and not the instructor. It just becomes clearer and clearer with each post.

It's better to be thought of as a moron, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

You are entitled to your opinion... that I mean in the plural sense and do you care to guess what value I give to them?
if anyone is in the same situation i would advise the following... 1) act but dont over react... 2) remain calm or as calm as possible. .. one yelling person in the truck is enough 3) call fm and keep conversations to the point and very professional 4) do not become confrontational....

I apologize for the snide post... the feedback and opinions of members are valuable to me otherwise I would not participate.

You made a comment in another thread about parking on an "on ramp" the other day. After say 11PM, parking in any truckstop becomes dicey. They're usually full, and anything left usually carries a high risk of a backing accident. If all you're going to do is kill a couple of hours before an appointment, there's no need to take that sort of risk.

I dont remember the post off the top of my head but I do remember seeing a bunch of rigs of all types near Baltimore parked alongside the ramp... your post explains a lot... thank you

I feel very lucky I am with the new trainer I am. He explains things to me and gives me specific advice and does not get angry when I hesitate and all of this has resulted in better performance in my part. I actually ended in good terms with my other trainer because I never met him at his level... but I hope he is not training anyone anymore and although I was not asked I managed to say as much in a non detrimental way... I said he was a great driver but that for being a trainer you need a certain vocation... and that not everyone has the natural abilities for that... and that I did learn a lot from him

    NavigatorWife Thanks this.
