Hand sanitizer can absolutely make you sick. It kills the microbes and bacteria on your skin that are there to protect you from germs. A human cannot survive in a sterile environment. We must encounter germs, period.

I would be much more concerned about that pig sty of a truck in those pictures making me sick. You go ahead and live your life without ever washing your hands or using hand sanitizer. I have lived for 60 years and am quite healthy while practicing good hygiene daily. I also keep the interior of my truck clean and sanitized as well. I don't think living in filth makes you healthy while exposing yourself to germs.

I was specifically addressing the hand sanitizer. I can't claim the pigsty, and I am not a pet person, period.

I'll happily debate all takers with respect to hand sanitizer. We are not supposed to kill the bacteria and microbes that our bodies produce, period. Its there for a reason.

 

Ask for a different trainer asap! If they ask why, just politely say to have someone inspect the interior of the truck. They will get your point. If they want details, tell them everything. Someone like this should NOT be a trainer....

 

There are two kinds of bacteria in this world, ones that will make you sick, and ones that won't make you sick. Our bodies don't produce bacteria, our bodies "host" bacteria. I'm all for killing the bacteria that make us sick. Anybody have a problem with that?
