They stay pretty busy and when they do get some down time, they play xbox, sleep, stock up on stuff at walmart, etc, don't think they get online too much (except for xbox play). The one son has no problem sleeping in the truck, but he's the one in the national guard and served his time over in Iraq. He was a driver of vehicle, not sure what the vehicle was called, anyway, 3 people to a vehicle, and they drove loooong hours so he learned to sleep under any conditions whenever and wherever you get the chance. The other son doesn't have a problem sleeping because the truck is moving, the problem for him is more because of a changing schedule. Sometimes when he should be sleeping, he just isn't tired and then of course his turn to drive rolls around and then he's ready for sleep. It's getting better for him though. They have adjusted pretty well for such a short period. Still loving it! Especially the money part. They were in Washington yesterday and were amazed at the beauty there!

I know how he feels about the rotating shifts it gets me too .I have been driving mostly during the day and that is schedual Im use to and I dont mind driving at night for that matter it is when you get thrown out of that shift and expexted to drive the next day or after your ten is up it is tuff to go from one shift that you are use to a then get trown in to the next.Last week i had to do that I had to pull over twice in a t/s and sleep for 2 hrs each time luckely I had enough time to get to my delivery w/o calling dispatch to let them know.As far as walmart goes you made me laugh cus i always look for a walmart they have enough room for the truck ,they are for the most part right off the highway and they are open 24hrs soyou got food and bathrooms your all set. If I cant find A spot at a t/s you can find me at a walmart .Plus they have red bull 4pks cheep.

Have you tried the 5 hour energy drink? The boys like that one the best. It is kind of expensive though. You can buy it by the case at the truckstop a little cheaper than buying individually. They've been looking for a book called "The Next Exit" that lists restaurants, truck stops, motels, Walmarts, etc and is setup by Interstates and exits so that you can quickly find what will be at the next exit for you. That would be really helpful when you are trying to find something in particular. They haven't found one yet, next time I go to Camping World, I'll have to get them one.

I have tried that 5 hr drink . The key to those drinks red bull etc. is to take them before you get tierd. I think that 5 hr one does work and it is more money. Eveytime I take one, I cant help but make a wierd face they are sooo tart. Im glad there is not a lot in the bottle ,I just soot it down and get it over with.I have a small little truck stop book it is the the holy grail I leave it open on the passanger seat at all times. I am going to look for that book as well . I never heard of but sounds like it would help plan better .I have been using my gps points of interest to help find stores & restaraunts . That seems to work out ok but that book would be better I Think. I just got the new laptop and wireless broadband . So I should be good to go now.

I have not found it anywhere else. It is a great book to have. We use it a lot when we are out in the RV. Nice to know where you can get off the road for a little bit if you want or need to. Covers all the interstates.
