Thanks Rob. I will stay in touch and let everyone know how it is going and if there any changes from what Mikel described.

Hey mike, what are you up to? I did my first route with no trainer in the truck and it felt great. Even though I'm not in training I ride as the driver/helper with my former trainer. Sometimes he forgets I'm not in training any more and I'm the swing driver/helper. After next week I'm asking to ride with one of the other guys for the week to see there route and how they do things. Next week they will be picking up another truck for a few days (not sue if its a tractor or straight) either way I'll be out driving a route. One of our drivers is in hot water. He keeps screwing up and might get Axed. Bad for him/good for me but I don't wish bad karma on anyone. If he straightens out we'll have a good group of 4 drivers and as it gets busier I can see them getting me a truck to run everyday. Rob

Thanks Mike, you stay safe as well. Day 2 I drove the Boston route. Not too bad, the gps lost its signal in the tunnel and I took the wrong ramp. I took me to some tight turns but I made it. Will run my own route tue,wed the back to swing driver/helper. I enjoy driving my own route & will keep looking for a solo gig. My cousin said to call his boss back as his company is picking up work.

I got my truck a few days ago, a T600. I'm about to finish my first load going into El Paso from Atlanta. So far my experience with CFI has been very good and I would recommend them.

    mikel Thanks this.
