From the time you are hired as a driver (trainee), you are paid $400 per week thru the training phase. This is about a 10 week duration. When you are assigned your truck as a solo driver, you begin being paid by the mile. 0.26 at first, increasing a penny per mile during the first year. So at the end of 12 months as a solo driver, you are earning 0.30 per mile.
After that, it's a one cent per mile raise each year, maxing out at 0.42. -
how long from the time you start your training until you become a trainee?
-
School is 3 weeks. Going with trainer 1st out is 5 weeks.
-
Ok so roughly a month without a check.
-
If you go to Cdl school it's 3 weeks...no pay. Once you get the Cdl it's $800 /week until you finish training. Then you get your truck, .26 / mile.

Yeah...sorry
-
What kind of mileage is it out of cdl school
-
Out of CDL school, you become a trainee on a trainers truck. It doesn't matter what your mileage is, you're paid a flat $400 per week, whether the truck moves or not.
