What are you, some kind of dog hater?
Just wait until some guy parks right next you in the truck stop with his refer motor going full bore and wakes you up out of a deep sleep LOL

Thanks for the pick me up...lol.Big Don Thanks this.

I love dogs...real ones...not one that will fit in a pocketbook and yap incessantly at all hours. Those I regard only slightly above a particularly ill tempered skunk.
And I'm the guy that is pulling the reefer so I will try to park away from folks when possible...lol.Scooter Jones Thanks this. -
Well, then wait until your refer is cranking and a guy pulls in next to you with his going full blast.
Dueling refers!
Broke Down 69 Thanks this. -
I pulled refer at May my 1st 2 and a half years in this industry. It takes getting used to for sure. Especially when the night dm calls and wakes you up asking you to verify that refer is working properly.
Broke Down 69 Thanks this. -
The "purse" dogs I refer to as "footballs"Modlite11, Broke Down 69 and Big Don Thank this.

That's why your cell phone has several ways of being muted. Turn off, put in airplane mode, turn volume all the way down, AND don't leave it where it will wake you up by vibrating.
They are almost as good as cats for coyote bait!
(oh am I gonna catch hell for that one...)
SHOJim, Broke Down 69 and austinmike Thank this. -
Hmmm. I hear bajoes and compressors...hopefully there's no swamp rat talking about me having a pretty mouth included in this little nightmare scene.
At that point my Naval training in expletive use will likely reassert itself.
That's funny.
If only these little "dogs" had the aforementioned settings. And yes, the odds of someone giving you grief are pretty high but if it makes you feel better I wholeheartedly agree with you.Last edited: Aug 14, 2016

Go buy a dog whistle and keep EVERYBODY up!! Lol
Been enjoying your thread so far. These minor inconveniences are part of the training. This way you will be somewhat buffered to the slobs in the fuel island washing their truck with a squeegee while you wait to fuel, the sitting around a J somewhere listening to tall tales in the drivers lounge while waiting for a shower, and the shipper/receiver that looks so busy on the other side of the window that they can't even glance up and say 'be right with you' with a smile, instead you stand there like a big re tard looking through the candy store window.... Loltscottme, Weeezerd, Dark_Majesty_06 and 2 others Thank this. -
Wish I'd thought of the dog whistle idea...would have been an outstanding way to get even.
Glad you're enjoying the thread thus far. And your point of this being a form of patience training is well taken.
