Oh yeah, one more reason I hate the Appalachians is that I have a weak bladder and have to pull over about once an hour to use a bottle (if there are no rest stops ... too much info, I know). When they carve their tiny stupid roads out of the Appalachians they give you like a 2 inch shoulder, even on the off-ramps. Out west (even in the mountains in a lot of places) and in the midwest you can pull over just about anywhere!
Man, once I got lost and couldn't find a place to turn around, ended up climbing a friggin mountain ... took me 3 hours to get to the top (where I could turn around) and back down again.Last edited: Mar 30, 2009

2 things
first if your a lease and you get dispatched from say somewhere to cali where shortest route is acrosss parts of co that require chains
They dont make you go that way they dont make you carry chains
But if you get caught in there without them its your 1000 ticket i droped down to nm and went across that way was only 100 more in fuel and no chains needed.
Second my 2 buds still there are quiting saying something has gotten ###### and there miles are to 1500-1800 week now not surfe whats up but if your going there might want to talk to a few folks firstpbrstreetgang Thanks this. -

The miles at Trans Am are seriously hurting. Sitting at the terminal in Olathe for a few days will show you that. As far as leasing, I saw the statements for about 10 lease guys. They were all averaging 500-600 a week after expenses. I won't stay away from my family for weeks on end for that. I can make better at home. As things stand now, I would not recommend them. Apparently when Johnny stopped running the show things went downhill fast.
