All those problems, are being caused by people, who don't know how to pretrip a tlr, and TA doesn't push that like they should. Also, people are just to d a m n e d lazy to get the problems fixed themselves. Most of the air bags problems are due to a broken linkage on the levelor switch. You'll find it behind the left rear tire.
Another thing you should be checking is the automatic greaser. Thats the can with the clear glass and what looks like a green bellows in it. They like to break, right where the bracket is bent into a 90. -
I'm currently at home after 4 weeks of training and 2 weeks as a company driver. So far everything has been pretty good. Going to enjoy the next few days.

Good deal dude. I'm back in Rockwall now after my three weeks of driving.
Any BS about truck availability for those who don't lease? -
The attitude of a lo of drivers nowadays is..I don't care..I'm dropping it any way..
I think if co's paid $$ to the driver who has to wait for repairs as downtime, the. Take that $$ & deduct that $$ from lazy driver who dropped trailer in that condition. -
They wil pressure you to drive with a broken trailer. I pulled the trailer to get it empty(which I probably shouldn't have done, but with a refrigerated load, I did it). Once it was empty, I was told I would probably have to wait until Monday to get it fixed or I could get another load, and run 600 miles with it(They say equipment violations don't hit the driver's CSA2010 which is a complete lie). I told them to call when they found a repair shop to drop it at, and they managed to find one just today.
While these 2 violations weren't singled out on the CSA 2010 guide, they would've probably fallen under 396.3, which carries a 2 point weight, and it DOES hit the driver's score.

This was a temporary repair since that bracket is nearly impossible to find afterhours.

actually there were 14 of us in test out. 7 went lease and the other 7 company. None of us had to wait to get our trucks. Got them Friday afternoon and first load Saturday. Truck looks good and runs fairly decent. Cruise doesn't work and air bags don't deflate. APU A/C quit working couple days ago. Have to wait to Monday before I can take to Thermo King. I'm not complaining though, getting some miles and happy to be earning paycheck.

Just FYI, TA WILL pay for a motel room, if APU quits working and its really hot or cold outside.
billy in nashville and Jackofalltrades1977 Thank this. -

The hardest thing about testing out is deciding where you want to eat for lunch. lol.
Its not going to be a problem.
