The only trouble the King ever had was at North Cove when he was doing a walk around on the trailer and caught someone trying to get into the cab of the truck. It does and can happen anywhere. My brother is a big guy....a really big guy, and never thought anyone would dare mess with him. But they did, and he was lucky he didn't end up like the Detroit driver. Just be aware and cautious.

For right now the last statistics that I could find from the Bureau of Justice were from a study done in the mid 1990's. These are the occupations with the highest number of robberies and assault. The numbers are an average per year and the statistics for transportation include cab drivers. So, yes, it most definitely happens more frequently than we would like to believe. But look at the numbers for the other high risk occupations ....astounding!

You guys think that TA is seedy now, you should have been there before they renovated it. My first time back was last year after I was there in 07 and now it is all polished up and spanky new back then it was really bad. Holes in fences crackheads everywhere. The cops came by the night I was there and they were asking me questions about a pimp who I just saw just before them, I told them where he went. I had my dog with me and he was a decent size dog and with me being a little bit big no one bothered me. The lot lizards knocked once on my door and Sox(my dog) barked and they never came back. Now it is not bad been in worse.
At my first stop. The guard gave me a door but have to wait for them to open receiving to get unloaded. Have to wait till tomorrow to unload the rest at Kroger. Will go to Petro here in ATL don't like staying in ATL but don't want to be driving more than I have to with this load already lost too much time and money on this load.

Best hometime ever. Had the kiddo's birthday party this afternoon then hit the arcade in the mall. Sat at the house for a bit then after the kids were tucked in bed, hubby and I went out. Had a close call with the park rangers nearly catching us sneaking around in the sand dunes like teenagers at midnight LOL. He gave up and drove off and we got the heck out of there before he decided to call the cops who are working the area hard tonight!!!

Hey Jaso! If you're staying in Atlanta area over night head over to the Walmart in Union City! Plenty of food within walking distance and you won't have to pay to park! From the 285 loop, hit 85 south. Just 3 or 4 miles down the road is exit 64. Take that, make a right and park there at Walmart. There are signs saying they boot the truck, but management said it's just if you're leaving it. You can take a 10 there. And if you walk to grab grub, just flag down the security guy driving around the lot and give him a heads up. That's one of my more recent dedicated parking spots for GA cause a friend of mine lives in Union City.
