That is exactly where I am going. I like parking on their property cause I do not have to start my clock until they are finished unloading me.

Just an FYI NYC is the safest city 100,000 people or more in the country. going by percentages cause the number of a city with 18 million will always dwarf any other. You have a better chance at being mugged in Raleigh, Seattle, Tampa than you do in NY. Guliani changed it to that way he was rough but NYC was a very very rough place.

The funny thing is Honeybadger I know where all the truck stops and the turnpike rest areas you are talking aboiut, been to most of them either in my recreational travels of the state or with my current employer as far as the turnpike rest areas are concerned. Wildwood great place to stop before getting on the turnpike to head south. Also used to be a good CB shop in behind the TA there, Been there a couple of time when I was driving a class b for a underground directional boaring company. Would have had my class a with them if it wasn't for 9/11.

 

Advise caution for anyone traveling through Florida today expecting mix of showers and thunderstorms for most of the day across the state. So expect the 4 wheel idiots who don't know how to drive in the rain to do stupid thinngs.

 

Perfect example of the weather we are having down here. Ramp is closed, driver looks like he is ok. Better part is there is also a backup north of that as well.

 

George had a note put on driver's side door from state patrol (about 7:30 pm) to move his truck or be towed. Anyone else had this problem? He didn't see the note until several hours later but did move to a rest area nearby.

Well I guess that load I had to Wolverine cancelled or was put off. When I talked to the check guard this morning they informed Wolverine demands that all loads are USDA approved so even though the trailer was almost all the way loaded they had to wait for USDA to approve of load before they could release it. Then Trans Am voids my dispatch sends me to Grand Island to pick up trailer from TK and now I am suppose to pick up load from JBS in Grand Island to Harmony, Pa. delivery Monday morning. Fine by me was hoping to get a 34 hour restart in but what ever. Going home 8-25 anyways. Got a preplan but wont get serious about it till Sunday night. Trucking is always fun. LOL
