Good morning everyone! It is Monday and time to check in!
Panhandle is in Maine.
George is on his way to Iowa.
jaso needs to be planning his return to the dark side.(OTR)
honeybadger, are you back on the road? I hope you had a great time at home!
passport, where are you at?
dennisroc, did you enjoy your July 4th back in the USA?
Gordon, how was your holiday weekend?
jungHo, have you recuperated from the grandchildren? I will trade you two teenagers for a few days!
Pete, why are you being soooo quiet? ......I know, I know .....you have to drive the truck.....
gamma, did you get a new truck?
ajacks, how are you doing?
JohnBoy, I'm gonna give you a map pin too. You have added to our conversations and given sound advice and encouragement. How does it feel to be an honorary Translammie?
You don't get a prize or anything .....just a plain old map pin!
It's been pretty quiet around here. I don't know about you all but for me it has been a very tiring summer already! I know sometimes I just feel talked out....I know, unbelievable, right?
...but.. we have a pretty unique thing going here and it is worth the effort to keep it going. Sooooo..... start talking or I will get out the voodoo dolls along with your map pins!
jungHo Thanks this. -
You Trans Am drivers are missing the boat, I just got an email, and it states you can make $70,000/year working for Stevens Transport! An email wouldn't lie would it? Lol
HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
passport, I tried to upload the video to youtube. Is it normal for a 5 minute video to take over 5 hours to upload? I didn't know if that was right or not and ended up cancelling the upload.

I didnt have much to contribute

Thank you, now I feel wanted. I'm at the house in Lake Worth Fl. Will be delivering Wednesday then head back out.
I'll always have something to add, a little advice and many years of practice under my belt to share with others. Who ever one works for is not a concern of mine, if my experience can help someone it's free for the taking. And again, thanks for allowing me to be part of your community.jungHo, HometimeQueen, gntorres61 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Wow! Everyone must be preoccupied for sure. Slow moving on the forum today!!
George's pre plan changed. He has a BH run: pick up at Waterloo, Iowa with a 2 drop at Petersburg and Jarrad (sp?), VA due Friday. Pick up is scheduled for tomorrow morning. He said his original pre plan (to Kinston, NC) would have gotten him home before scheduled home time. This one puts him on track to be home Friday afternoon or evening. -
I did survive the grandkids! Thanks for asking. I'm actually in VA again, hanging with them and their parents until tomorrow. One of my brothers (2 of the 4 take turns, kind of) took off 4 days from work and is spending some time with Mom. Not that I didn't want to see him, but I take advantage of their visits to be with my girls & family.
John boy, wekcome. Make yourself at home!

Karen, B/H in Petersburg is a tight place to get around in. Tell him to pull up to the guard house in the car parking lot. They will check him in, if it's a 2 stopper he will be a live unload there. He will pull in after checking in and the loading docks will be on his left side for a proper back in. If there are other trucks in the way they will have to move, if there are dropped trailers there the yard jockey will move them, if he needs help backing in the yard jockey will do it without any questions.HometimeQueen, gntorres61 and jungHo Thank this.
