Trans Am Still

No worry about me having too much sense lol. Sometimes I have a lot of spare time and sometimes busy so I am just always thinking and trying to make a plan of moving back to the states soon.

Very hard decision as to when I want to make the move and where to go. I am really in no hurry and will just wait until I feel the time is right. It's all about the $$$$$ I have not paid taxes in over 10 yrs so that part will suck haha.

 

I always boo the Jets lol I'm a Dolphins fan. Jets, Bills, and Pats, who needs 'em?

 

they don't call it crashville for nothing lol. Yeah it's also called the music city. people will flock in from everywhere to attend concerts there.

 

I went to a tech school for my truck school. Was 10 weeks long and I actually logged 1000 miles behind the wheel and countless hours on the pad. Not to mention in Georgia we have the HOPE grant that I was able to use for tuition so i ended up paying maybe 200 out of pocket for school fees. even got college cred for it too.

I also was able to keep my job while I went to school. was hard since I worked third shift but it really helped out a lot.

I would recommend this route to everyone if they could swing the tuition or were able to get a grant. I think it was 4500 for this school.

Never to early to get prehires I had about 5 before school and about 30 afterwards. I applied to everyone lol.

 

You mentioned Carter. I think they do auto freight, you know there are 4 chrysler plants in Kokomo right? Havent been there in awhile but I used to hit that town on a weekly basis.

 

Of all the teams the Dolphins, I hate that team. My younger brother roots for them cause Dan Marino was in the first Super Bowl he watched. Good thing for me I was bigger than him. We would fight at least 2 times every season. I hate Dan since that fake spike play, that was cheating. LOL. I just want someone to finish ahead of the Patriots for once in the division but it doesn't look like it is happening any time soon

 

I agree about the Pats. Last time they didn't when the division was the season brady got hurt in week2 or 3 and missed the season. We won it that year with the Wildcat offense lol.

 

In Brookville, Pa for the night on my way to New Hope, Mn. for Friday delivery. Will call them tomorrow when I get to Gary and see if I can deliver Thursday instead. Trying to balance my hours so I can run home without running out. Getting back 12+ tomorrow and Thursday.

This company is good about giving people second chances and if you have a felony and work here get your experience and then more doors will open up. Some companies will never hire you but some will with experience.

SRQ if you go to a company that trains you to get a CDL you will sign an agreement with them and if you do not fulfill that contract a lot of companies will not hire you( I have a former student going through that now). So make sure that you want to work for that company for whatever the terms of that contract is. There are a lot of grants you can get to go to a private school to learn. All these companies make big promises and all make themselves look great, like there is no better and the people in the office usually believe it themselves cause they do not usually know better. Go to truck stops and ask the drivers of the companies you are interested in what they think of the company they are driving for. That way you get a gauge if it is a good source of information or not.

I hate when we have to wait for other peoples mistakes. If you want us as drivers to sit somewhere then pay us. These companies make millions why not be fair. This morning took me 2 hours to get a 6 digit p/u # that started with a 4. They sent me a 7 digit and a 5 digit #, I think sometimes it is cause of a lack of attention to detail. I bet customer service people were just looking for a number that started with a 4 cause dispatch told them a 4 only but when I got a little snotty and said what is so hard about giving me a number that is 6 digits long that start with a 4? I asked if they neede help counting? I guess they dont like me very much but I would be in Ohio now if they just paid attention. Rant over.
