Passport, that thing you had hanging out the driver's door, was that an antenna amplifier for wifi signals?

HTQ I lost my original wedding ring doing a 13 stop delivery in OKC. It must have fell off in one of my gloves when I was delivering but did not realize till next day and I was few hundred miles away. I was pushing the product to the end of the trailer all day. I was upset cause my MIL made it so it was unique and something I could not buy in a store, it really had no monetary value as it was stainless steel but I did get a lot of compliments on it cause it was so different. Of course when I got home the wife and I went to the store to get a new one. She keeps pestering me to get a ring tattoo but I tell her if I was a war while in the Navy and didn't get one then I would probably never get one.

I'm sorry that you lost such a special ring, jaso. I know it must have meant twice as much to you. We know that the true value of a wedding ring has nothing to do with money. The King's ring is just a simple gold band, easily replaced in monetary value .....but he wasn't going to give up what it means to him. ......And no......no tattoo, especially now. There's a recall on tattoo ink.

And jungHO, I have a feeling that George would have been taking apart a sink too!

Hey I am still in California. Today I had to pickup at 3 stops. The first was in los angeles,2nd stop was in compton. The final was in cypress. So the last stop had the wrong address because it was a college. So I try to call the number and it was disconnected. So I contact dispatch and they gave me a updated number. So I google the place to get the right address. It was way off idk how transam made that mistake. Well I am taking this load to family dollar in odessa tx.

That couldn't have been much fun, melo, but it sounds as if you handled it well and didn't get rattled! Good job!

That it be. About $27 on e-bay. It allowed me to download the UFC event that took place the night before, in about 45 mins. while I was at the Sapp Bros. that time.

It does not work miracles but I figure it has about double the range of the wifi antenna built into my laptop. In addition it is weather proof and has a long cord to give it additional range in that way, to physically put it closer to the wifi source.

Wolfman is correct HTQ as on the other threads I was getting the feeling they were really biased, I even started to get the feeling that most that were saying it were trainers for the companys. I knew I would get a impartial opinion about the issue here, and I also now understand what some consider driver mills, I was figuring it was places like Roadmaster.

That is a good idea Passport, it has to be hard enough to get a good wifi signal in the trucks let along trying to get a signal in a lot full of trucks.

    passport220 and HometimeQueen Thank this.

Yeah, it has worked well for me. It has a couple of other nice features, like you can share your wifi with other devices (like your phone) so I can connect my phone even when the phone does not even show a specific siginal on its wifi list, etc.

You can also crack the password on some older wifi routers with it. Oh, did I say crack? I mean test the security of your own router only. Routers with a WEP password but you don't see too many of them around any more.

HTQ posted a link for a kind of homemade super WiFi antenna. It looked interesting but technically over my head. I have been hoping someone would take up the challenge and share results.

I have been preforming a "give me a swap" kind of rain dance all morning. I am only 120 miles from my final but it does not deliver until 10pm tonight. Then my next pick up does not occur until tomorrow evening at it is only 140 miles past my next delivery. 260 miles for two days worth of clock .... come on swap!
