Trans Am Still

Good luck with driving a Taxi. Should have a good and busy weekend with the Labor Day weekend and all the bars out there.

 

The last two weeks we were with TransAm were the best we had......to the point that he was held out 2 extra days.....which wasn't good either. Being company we didn't have to wait for his pay......everything was on his last check. I was pleasantly surprised.

GRRR stuck on I-75 north of Knoxville, Tn. Been here so long on my laptop. Dead stopped for over an hour. Lots of emergency vehicles rolling by.

Understand what you are going though Jaso, I was stuck in the foul-up down here for sometime myself. Funny thing is that I had a dirt hauler follow every move I made and almost made friends with a bobtail flatbedder.

 

Good luck kf4omc with your new job! I'm happy for you and your better half that you will be home daily. That's awesome in itself. I'd love it if George were home daily, or at least every other day.

CARYVILLE (WATE) - One person was killed and three others injured in a fiery tractor trailer crash that also resulted in the closure of all lanes of Interstate 75 of in Campbell County.
Officials said just before 5:30 p.m. they were evacuating a half mile radius around the crash scene.
The accident was reported just after 3 p.m. around mile marker 133. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a northbound tractor trailer crossed the median and hit a southbound tractor trailer. Both trucks became fully engulfed in flames. Several explosions were reported.
At least one passenger vehicle was also involved
THP says one person was killed. Three others were injured and taken to UT Medical Center.
The closure is due to possibly hazardous materials leaking from the trucks. Officials say there is no radioactive material on any of the trucks.
Northbound traffic is being diverted onto Highway 116 at exit 129. Southbound traffic is being diverted at exit 134.
UT Medical Center confirms one patient was flown there via Lifestar. There is no word on that person's condition..
