They fixed my ac, it was really screwed up needed a new compressor and other stuff. Not impressed with them but didn't say anything. I will take it to KW when I go home on the 15th. When I turn on max ac it blows hot and told them that but since ac is working and I wanted to grab this 3 stop run out of Cactus I ran. They changed my load from Cactus to STL, Atlis and final at chicago on wednesday. Should put me in a good position for a good run out.

They want me to go to schools for recruiting so going to yard on the 8th to train for it. I will get my training status back again but will only train people who are here or for a friend.

In Amarillo for the night will be out of here early to go get load as it is a pretty tight schedule for first delivery.

    Be safe out there

    HometimeQueen and gntorres61 Thank this.

Severe weather event quickly transitioning to a pure straight-line wind threat from Sioux City area south through eastern NE into central KS through evening.

I saw the message for that and thought about doing it. Let us know how it goes. For me, it would just depend how they schedule the school visits, if they have you arrive at a school, like a day too early, and loose too much driving time to make it worth while.

Oh, maybe you can win the $5,000 as the best recruiter. Good luck!

This is a post on a FB page by one of their store employees. These folks were always friendly and helpful to the drivers when the King made deliveries there with TransAm. They also stood up for a man that treated them well, paid good wages and benefits. It would be nice to repay the kindness if any of you happen upon one of their trailers. :biggrin_25519:

    PLEASE HELP
Ok so I don't know if this is allowed but if not administration can delete it.
I work for a grocery chain in New England called market basket. Recently our company was disrupted by the firing of our beloved CEO Arthur T Demoulas. We fought hard and stuck together 2,025,000 of us we made a difference. In the mean time the new co CEO's tried everything in their power to destroy our company (failing). Part of their plan was to make some of the trailers from our fleet dissappear so we are asking the public for help. Some of the drivers they hired were from the New York area and some from Pennsylvania and Virginia as well as other east coast locations please if any of these trailers are seen abandoned please help us get our property back if you can get the numbers on front and back of them or plate numbers please call (978) 640 8165. We love our company and we believe in our CEO and need our equipment back pleas help. Again sorry if this not allowed we just need some help. Thank you

Yeah, I am glad you post in detail on this type of situation as I often wonder what is the right decision. Practical reality vrs letter of the law. Stuff like weight, running with ABS lights on, minor equipment defects, etc.

Good to have a discussion with fellow drivers about what is a reasonable standard.

the law is clear but if you follow it to the letter you will starve
even pc driving permitted by transam will not pass the light of day
i am sure the writers of HOS didn't envision off duty while getting unloaded for 6 hours
