Nix that idea. Was rereading my BOL and Super Value receiving is 2000-0200 which is no help. I might try to show up for 2000 in hopes of still getting a split in Union City. Guess it's a go on the tires tomorrow.

BTW George, if they do shut down 70 in st. louis, just take 64 it will bring you back to 70 once you get out of town.

Sorry, honeybadger, was hoping you could deliver early.

I 64 thru St. Louis is a mess right now. The protest is supposed to be at I 70 and Handley Road, which would be in the middle of town. I think taking the loop around the city should be ok ....but will have a lot of extra traffic because of the shutdown and the construction mess on I 64.

Organizers now call for protestors to gather at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 10 in the Metro public parking lot at the intersection of Interstate 70 and Hanley Road. After a rally, protestors plan to block traffic at 4:30 p.m., symbolizing the four and a half hours that Michael Brown’s lifeless body was left lying on Canfield Drive

Here's the link for Missouri road conditions. If you zoom in on St. Louis you will see that parts of I 64 are closed.

Depending on where they close 70 at, you can also take 270 around st Louis. Its a much easier route than actually going thru town and fooling with that bridge.

In my current situation, I will lose that load being that TA owes me hometime after I get rid of these dead Siberian cows. Maybe all this mess is just as well. I would go out of route to avoid St. Louis, but somebody else will get this load now I am sure. I think.

Plans changed so now I am in Dodge City at National Beef but trailers brakes need adjustment. No resistance when brake is engaged so they are sending someone to adjust them, forgot my socket set or I would do it myself. GRRR. Maybe get this done with enough time to catch the first games today. Watching Full Metal Jacket while I wait. Love this movie. That DI was so funny in this movie, sure it isn't funny if you are going through it but funny to watch.

Hope you get home soon George. Sometimes trucking stinks but you seem to be handling it well.

    Be safe out there

Usually things have a way of working out for the best, George. At the very least it will push everything farther out and you won't have to take the St. Louis thing into consideration. :biggrin_25525:

It would be nice if it would be swapped again to me to send me to Lakeland and then let me bring a load out of Auburndale to swap and get home in the next couple days.
