I am in Waynesville, Nc. had about an hour left on my 14. Would not have made Dandridge, Tn. today. Should be able to make Stl area tomorrow. Deliver first thing friday morning. Not the greatest miles this week only 2,700+ but plus side is I should have plenty of miles to run into the house for Monday.

    Be safe out there

Dennis, George doesn't pay anything to park his truck. There are many trucks at the stop he parks at for home time who are there daily, as there are several day time drivers here doing local or regional runs. I believe only a few truck stops charge, but the drivers can better inform you on that. It appears that is more likely in metropolitan areas.

You're doing good on your spending then, Pete! Quite thrifty and practical! To a large part it's probably due to years of experience, as well as observing how much went out of your pocket for food. Way to go!

when the move became such a disaster and we had to go buy new furniture it is easy to eat in the truck
i dont even think about it if i want something i get it but everything in the truck to eat is better then anything in the TS

That's right, jaso, it couldn't have been George. He's been there a few times.

I only just realized you said you had pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. You shouldn't eat them. They're nasty. You should send them all to me and I will ensure they are properly disposed of. <__<

Jaso, I have been to Earth Ccity, once. Really tight. You are going to have to 90 it in. Took me awhile. That place is only a couple of blocks from the St Louis Rams practice field.

Like the badger, I have multi colored hair also. Mine is brown, white, and gray!!! It's in a pony tail, and as I say when requesting an extra towel, an ageing long haired hippy, would describe me pretty close. Also overweight. lol

And yes, gave those cookies away tho I did keep the toffee almond's to try.
