Today has just sucked. Had to deal with the crap with the truck losing its prime this morning and have several blisters from than now. And my favorite work gloves are ragged now. Then I said screw this week and told road assist I want to take care of my overdue alignment today and have my fuel sensor replaced since it's not even close to accurate. I apparently ran completely out of fuel enough that the truck lost its prime, added 96 gallons between two tanks and then my gauge said I had 7/8 tank until I got 100 miles down the road. Road assist sent me to Mobile for my alignment and it wasn't until I got there, 100 miles away, that I find out their alignment machine is broken and TransAm won't let me get it done at Peterbilt 5 miles down the road. I gave up and had DM get me a load and I had just enough time to bobtail in to the Averitt Express terminal in Lawrenceville GA. I'm hooked up to my trailer and will roll out tomorrow.

Will they pay you for the 100 miles to Mobile since that is where they sent you to?
-
passport, did they get you moving again?
passport220 Thanks this. -
Nope, won't get paid the 100 miles because I'm a contractor and was electing to go in for truck service.
HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
electing to go for service means for nonessential things like an alignment you can go anywhere
the only place that got my front end aligned right was Olathe KW -
Got a 300 mile deadhead move to Garden City, KS but then will likely have to wait about 24 hours for my 3 stop load to New England to be ready.HometimeQueen Thanks this.
