But my solution cost me a whopping $5 and takes up very little room in the dog box! ;) I have also used it to clean in the cab.

I sent you a link on FB to his company. They also require experience .....but I think it depends on the person, nothing ventured nothing gained. No, the King doesn't post online. He usually runs as hard as he can run, and doesn't have much spare time. I bought him a new tv in April and I think he has watched twice in the months since.
There are things with every company that are good and bad. The schedules are much tighter with this company, the truck never has down time other than when he is home. He is home every week, because they know it's important for him, but the last few weekends he has only been home about 18 hours. He always can get someone on the phone that is never a problem ....and that is everyone from the mechanic in the yard to the owner of the company. He repaired his first trailer tire on Sunday. He did his pretrip before he left, no problems, made it about 200 miles up the road and had a car try to get him to pull over. He wasn't in a safe place and went about 5 more miles before he stopped. He was out with his tire thumper checking everything out when two state troopers pulled up behind him with their lights blazing. He threw his tire thumper down and put his hands in the air. The trooper said what did you do that for. The King being the King tells them ....."This is Missouri and you're Missouri police, enough said", (That man!). The car had flagged down the troopers and told them that the big truck was about to lose a wheel. Turns out everything was good but an inside trailer tire had a defect and one of the belts had cut through the tire and was sparking under the trailer as he went down the road. Anyway, they let him go on his way, the closest truck stop was 60 miles. He made it and had a new tire put on and was out of there in 20 minutes. On a Sunday night! .... he just called his driver manager at home....no problem.

You need less sleep as you get older ....and, well ....ummmm ....He's not nearly as old as you, Pete..... :biggrin_25524::biggrin_2559: The King is a lot like you in other ways ....cranky....but maybe a little worse. He doesn't like most people well enough to even bother harassing them!:biggrin_25523:

Yeah, he found that out after he called ....."Why didn't you just buy a new tire, why are you calling me?" He really didn't know what company policy was, he never had to repair anything on the truck or the trailer before. He found out it was the same as their fuel policy ....if you need it, get it.

MISSOULA, MT (KTMF/CNN) – A tractor-trailer has 35,000 pounds of chicken rotting in it after a kidnapping plot of sorts goes bad.
Officials in Montana say a man driving a truck carrying $80,000 worth of frozen chicken wouldn't finish the drop-off until he got some money.
"No, it doesn't seem like it was really well planned out," Missoula Co. Sheriff's Dept. spokeswoman, Paige Pavalone said.
It's not a typical kidnapping. The driver came from Nampa, ID, making a delivery for Dixie River Freight. Pavalone says the truck was reported stolen about a month ago.
"This is pretty unusual," Pavalone said. "Not only is it disgusting, but it's a huge waste of food and resources and this is a huge felony theft case right now."
Now the health department has to figure out a way to get the rotten meat to the landfill. They're working with Dixie River Freight's insurance company. It looks like the best plan now is to wrap and plug the tractor trailer and take the chicken to the dump pin its original casing.
"You want to get rid of that potential for there to be pests flying around, disease vectors, the flies," Missoula Co. Environmental Health Supervisor Shannon Therriault said. “But in and of itself it's not a hazardous material,”
The other question is what to do with the truck. It's hard to toss something worth tens of thousands of dollars in the garbage. But it will take a lot of work to get in it back in working order, even if it's not used for food anymore. The decision is up to the insurance company.
"It'll be up to them whether they want to bury the whole truck, but I don't think that's what they're planning to do," Therriault said.
The owner of Dixie River Freight says he knew nothing about het incident. The case is now in the hands of Nampa police.

^ ^Ew! That's awful! Rotten chicken does smell something awful. That news story certainly is incomplete and there's more to it than meets the eye!

So, HTQ, back to your plumping. It is primarily your kitchens that are clogged (pipes), right? I'm assuming that is putting a major crimp on any sort of home meals, and you and the girls are either eating out or ordering food in. That's got to be tough! Hopefully Saturday will be the day it really gets fixed.

Cranky, you are funny! We need a "like, " or LOL button on the forum!!! Gotta say, youse guys make me laugh often!!!! HTQ, good thing the King doesn't get on our forum, especially the passes about showering and pictures... ah! Gasp!!!!:biggrin_25525:

I read about that rotting chicken on FB. Disgusting. And in the summer heat too! That trailer might just be a loss. They ought to refeeeze that sucker, move it, and dump it trailer and all.

I managed to fill my truck for $3.44 a gallon which is the cheapest I've seen in a little while so I filled her all the way up. Was worried about being late since my load appointment was a live load in Waco but it's all good! The security guard was very nice and said even shipping isn't appointment based, first come first served. So I'm very happy to have fueled after midnight at a price I'm happy with, am getting loaded no problem, and deliver this afternoon in Lubbock. I've even got extra time before delivery to take my time and hit up a Walmart. Cause those pumpkin spice oreos are out now, ya know!
