Jaso , being Diabetic do you have to get a DOT physical every year ? And do they check your A1C during your Physical or just test your sugar with a test strip ?

George , seems like you are getting some good advice here ! I am no driver so I wont attempt to advise but the part about splitting the sleeper birth sounds interesting. Myself if I decide to drive I will want to know all information I can get.
I do understand about the load swapping , that would be a good thing at times and a bad thing at times but as they say it is what it is.
I think sometimes when you think things are all messed up that is when you think things out and realize they aren't that bad.
    Keep on Truckin !!! :biggrin_25520:

Everyone else , thanks for all the good info !!!

    jungHo and HometimeQueen Thank this.

Wow George, you've sure taken a pounding on here. Even Cranky taking pity on you!!!!!! The world must be coming to an end!!!

Not going to add to it...... much. Truth is, you screwed up. Big deal, you'll do it again. We all have at one time or another and will do so again. If you've learned from it, all is good.

I am however going to address one statement that you made and it's about the looking for a job after 6 months. Truth is, if you do, you'll only end up at another big company, that will just be another TA. Why? All the big companies are self insured, which is why they'll take students and new drivers. Any small to medium sized company, has to follow the dictates of THEIR insurance company and they require 2 years or more. Fact of life. Sometimes it can be worked around, mostly not. Stick with TA for awhile. The devil you know...... and all that.

Stay positive, learn from your mistakes, and learn how to deal with back to back resets and you'll do ok.

Anybody running I 70 in Missouri? I don't have any of you there on my map pins but just in case .....

There has been another random shooting on I 70. This time an off duty police officer was in his personal vehicle. He says it was a black sedan with 3 people in it.

Did I miss a follow up post about your plumbing, HTQ? I figured with the King being home he'd light a fire under their back sides, if they did not get to repairing it! Rightfully so, too. Shouldn't have strung you out so long!

Thanks again, Everyone, for pointers, tips, and encouraging George. Jaso hit the nail on the head, as did panhandle, all of you make mistakes occasionally, even if several of you have many more years of experience under your belt. It's what lessons are learned and the attitude that counts. I truly believe each one of you has a high standard in regards to your work ethic. You are a great bunch of guys! As I told George, he's got a great support system through each one of you (even CY) :biggrin_2559: and that's huge!!! Have a marvelous day! May all your roads be smooth ones and your load assignments deliver promptly! Safe travels. God bless you all!!!

In Amarillo, Tx. less than 450 to go for Tuesday night 2300 delivery hoping that they swap me either tonight or tomorrow night will be sitting up in Limon tomorrow late morning. I will message them first thing in the morning to see if maybe they can schedule this for tomorrow night but not holding my breath.

I think Flash is right when Cranky is feeling sympathy the world might be coming to an end. I will be looking at the sky between plays for the signs.

    Be safe out there

A good parent might swat your backside....it helps loosen up your hide so that you have room to grow, but then they will pat you on the back and say do better next time. ......We do that to all of our "new children" here! :biggrin_2559:

Two plumbers, six hours ......was not a pretty site. Thought it was fixed, just ran the dishwasher and I think they broke the seal on a pipe joint in the downstairs wall, there is water coming out from under the cabinets.:biggrin_2552: We don't even want to talk about it .....
