I just saw a guy who had three large dogs in the truck with him. Not Great Dane large but added all up the three made up about a Great Dane and a half. Wait until his truck is broke down and you are all crammed in together inside a small repair shop waiting room.

I never checked, but I wonder if there is not some kind of app that you can download onto your phone, use your phones GPS to update your location, so a broker would not have to call any driver but just check the app and know where you are. You then manually add your status update: "loaded" , "aval", etc. Could also do it on Facebook.

Congrats on the raise, that is a very nice little bump.

 

Hmmmmm .....we need to help our friend Panhandle decide what kind of dog to get. It can't be too big ....No Great Danes.....and has to be a conversation starter and a lady catcher. Any suggestions??

 

Several of the brokers have asked the King to allow them to track his phone....he never has approved it. I imagine they use something like the Life360 app. There have been a few times that they tried to track his phone without asking his permission first, so far his phone always tells him when they are attempting to do that.

 

If I counted right, at this time our honeybadger is in third place. She needs to get at least to second place in order to get a new bluetooth .....so what are you guys waiting for? We can do this!

Good luck on that. Really beautiful dog too. I have a love hate relationship with my headset, but at the end of the day, I wouldn't be without it.

 

Thanks! Avett is my absolute perfect truck dog. A complete couch potato when I need to drive or work, but when it's time to play she's very active and enthusiastic. The couch potato thing is extremely unusual for a border collie, but she has a black and white off switch.

I need to get on a computer later so I can access Facebook from a desktop but I might actually be in second place already. I need to count the shares on the pics because they count for votes too. Either way, I'm not giving up! The contest runs til the 14th so I'm gonna keep pushing for votes to hopefully secure one of the prizes. How can ya say no to that cute face? Haha. My four year old will be super excited later today when he realizes Avett and I are home for a little while.

 

Trucking life sometimes the shipper is to blame, get here to Roberts and they are not ready for me so I have to sit in the door til they load me was suppose to be a drop-n-hook but we all know how that goes sometimes. They said they were behind and were real nice about it so I will take a nap.

I am bringing my dog out with me next time, if they aren't going to have me train I will have my dog with me. She loves the truck have had her out with me before. She is a fat 22 pounds. Super nice with a lot of personality. A bit surprising since she is one of the most severly abused dogs I have ever come across but you would never know it cause she is such a sweetheart. She is not timid or aggressive and loves me but drives my wife nuts. LOL

Flash cats aren't bad to have in the truck either cause you never have to walk them in the frigid cold temps.

New update on the contest is that I appear to be currently in the lead?! I'm a member of several large vaping groups on Facebook with cool people in there who are helping me out. Now I just have to hold on to my standing for the next week and a half!!! It would be so nice to have clear phone conversations with my kids again!
