Trans Am Still

It has been a long week. Finished with the Heritage Festival today ....thank goodness! Finished the headbands for the Heritage association to sell. Put together the girls dresses , etc. We sold all of the headbands but 6. My girls will be in 4 newspapers this week, got an offer to model for a professional photographer, to model for the State Historical Society, and to attend the performing arts college in Springfield. They had their picture taken over 300 times today. .....and all we were doing was dressing up to help the mayor. They had hired a professional model to do the show. She showed up in a limo and left in a snit because she wasn't being asked for pictures! Alright, I am finished bragging now ......well, for now, anyway!

 

I fixed it! And yes, they do take after Dad!

 

I know ....it drives her crazy. She hasn't realized yet that dynamite comes in small packages!

 

Great job on the vintage get-ups! Looks great, very authentic ... at least from pictures and movies I have seen from the period. Cranky however should render an option of how authentic they look ... since he is the only one around with first hand experience of the period.

 

George, I second and third what everyone has said! You are not a loser ....it is the truck, not you. Unless things have really changed at TransAm my guess is that you will be in another truck before long if this one continues to give you problems. So don't get discouraged and don't give up! You are doing fine, we have patted you on the back and kicked you in the seat of the pants at times and you have taken it all and learned from it. You will make it through this time and it will get better.

George, I hope you get that truck fixed so you can get out there and get some miles. Your luck has got to change soon.

 

sitting somewhere near dallas tonight. forgot the name lol. Funny how I'm 150 miles into Texas and still have 460 to go to get to Laredo tomorrow lol.

George it's not the kenworths it's the paccar crap and the dpf crap they put in the new trucks.

I just recently switched companies and went from an 01 western star to a 07 kw t600 with a cummins. no paccar, no dpf and it's a smooth ride.

only downside is i have to get used to elogs again..

Anyone catch the notre dame- florida state game? talk about down to the wire.

 

How will any of the rest of us ever know, our queen refuses to post any pics of herself. Guess we'll have to buy a local paper cause you know she must have made it also.
