^Yeah, that independent Garden City Truck Stop with Bonnie's Kitchen is nice. Good, made from scratch baked goods. You know it is good because you see a lot of locals, drive up in their four wheelers come there to eat. Do expect to pay full prices though. Free WiFi!

Bring at least one weeks worth of clothes, any meds, toiletries, cash to eat on. Twin sheets, pillows, blanket, a towel, and remember you have to sleep with what you bring so don't overdo it. Just so much room in the truck. Ah, the adventure awaits. Thats what I love about OTR. Its an adventure, not a job like doing local. Hope this helps.

Are you sayin' I'm short and square and built like an end table? :biggrin_2556:......Time to hit the gym again!

And I don't know ....I asked the King if I was mean and he didn't answer ....just went to rooting through all of the closets and such. When I asked him what he was doing he said he was looking for my hat and broom! So evidently I am pretty good at it!

Sorry you had a bad day Panhandle and I'm sorry if I contributed to it ....and yes, passport, he is still adorable. Everyone that knows me says that the world goes nuts when I am in a temper .....Number One Daughter says "Mum, you're not witchy ....but you are a Pokemon" .....Whatever that means.:biggrin_25512:
The King has been home taking some much needed vacation time. We've just been doing some day trip things. Today the girls wanted to go to the zoo ....so off to the zoo we went. They have been there many times but it has been several years. I thought it was an odd choice for teenagers to make, but they enjoyed it tremendously and had a far greater appreciation for the animals that they got to see.

The King is worn out .....it was the most walking he has done in a loooong time!

Yeah, maybe like a Pikachu type Pokémon:
"Pikachu are often found in houses, forests, plains, and occasionally near mountains, islands, and electrical sources (such as power plants). As an Electric-type Pokémon, Pikachu can store electricity in its cheeks and release it in lightning-based attacks."

Oh and the name "Pokémon" has been changed around but it came originally from characters roughly translated as "pocket monsters" if that rings true for you. I am not a fan of the stuff but I did teach in Asia ... so I had to learn something about it.

Arrived early for my Dollar Gen unload yesterday. Had to wait around 9 hours for a live unload. 1 hour, 30 mins of that waiting for night dispatch to give me a PO for the unload fee.
Now have to wait another 32 hours since unload, for my P&G load drop dead time, going out west. P&G loads are often ready early, so maybe only a 24 hour wait.

Left Garden City KS at 8pm last night and drove to Oak Grove Mo for a two hour nap then continued on to Warrenton, MO where I barely made it on fumes to the Flying J. After I got 50 gallons for a no solution, and sent in my level 2 fuel notice, a new solution came out telling me to get 82 more gallons after I left the pump. Will depart at 7pm central and will take another chunk out of this trip. Getting sleepy.....day day.

Uhmmmm ......pocket monster?........it does look somewhat like me when I am mad...lightning attacks .....ok, I can go with it! :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559: It's so nice to know what your kids think ......that must be why they scream "Get away from the tv!"

I had no idea!:biggrin_25524: .....Being a pocket monster could have its advantages!
