I think that first year with TransAm we averaged $689 a week taking home time every two weeks. That was after taxes and paying for their health insurance.....and taking a week's vacation.
Lwood53, as far as being out of North Carolina is concerned we have one lease driver and one company driver on here that live in North Carolina. I believe,( George or jungHo correct me if I am wrong), George has had a little more trouble being home exactly on schedule than what we ever did. We live in Missouri and I can only count a few times that my husband wasn't home when he was supposed to be over a period of almost 4 years. I do think George has always been home within a day of when he was scheduled other than when he had some major truck issues to deal with.gntorres61 and dennisroc Thank this. -

This thread covers about 6 months of this year and the old thread starts 2014 on about page 403. I know it sounds like a lot ....but you will be able to skip through much of it. There is a lot of good information there .....even I go back to double check on information.dennisroc Thanks this.

As an example of how we did our home time we would request that he be home from 8:01pm say on a Friday night til 6:59am on Monday morning.....that is the way his trainer suggested that he put in for his time at home and it always worked for us. That way my husband, the King, normally got in a full day's work on the day he was coming home, was in the driveway usually before 8pm, could enjoy dinner and a good night's rest, and have two full days and 3 nights to be at home before going back out. We always got the same amount of drive time but a little extra home time by doing it that way.dennisroc Thanks this.
