I lost that ring cause I was taking gloves on and off and lost a set of gloves never thought to much of it until I noticed my ring gone. I usually keep a 3 pack of gloves on, the ones I lost were getting really old so I never thought any thing of it just put on a new set. HTQ is like a court reporter. Just read back the transcript please

:biggrin_2559: Sorry! I can't help it ....believe me it drives the King crazy, except when he needs me to know or remember something! And there is nothing he likes better than to realize that I don't remember something or that he found out something before I did. :biggrin_25524: ......it doesn't happen very often!

I'm so glad that you found your ring, jaso .....and I know you will find your sunglasses also.:biggrin_25519:

    dennisroc and jaso37 Thank this.

I have an opportunity to become a recruiter, working through a company that recruits for several medium sized carriers. The money is good if you are successful and I could work from home...or anywhere for that matter. But......recruiting? I just don't know .....and I refuse to mislead any driver.

Well the nice thing about making it to Elkton is my dad came out to see me. We sat down and had dinner and talked for a bit and he brought me my guitar! Well, one of two. This one is a stunning thing with a beautiful ash top. Looks and sounds great. The second one will be delivered on Monday and will be better suited to being on the truck. That one is currently in my hometown awaiting the final leg in its journey with UPS. I am finishing a 10 and will start my 14 by delivering my first stop then hauling butt down to NC to final this load a day early.

So.... last night I'm running across 30 in IN. Speed limit 60, I'm doing 63 or 4. Come up on a car going slower than me, move into the left lane to pass, and the SOB sped up. Stayed right on my rt frt bumper and wouldn't move. Opened the truck up and went on by. He dropped back. Kept checking for him, and finally saw some lights on the rear of my trailer. Turn on the blinkers and wait a bit, then start over. Bout that time I hear a motor start screaming. Dumb ### was sitting in my blind spot. He speeds up and gets on my frt bumper again and stays there. Finally get him boxed in by another car, and go around both of them. Then, he comes out and sits right behind my left door. Have never wanted to run somebody off the road as bad as I wanted to then!!!! Thankfully, a town came up and I lost him. Why do people do such dumb stunts!!!!!

whewwww good news about finding your ring Jaso! Also good news that your sunglasses never left the truck. They will turn up. I get out a flashlight and mirror and start checking around for stuff in corners and such when looking for something lost, I know must be still be around, shaken around in the truck. I usually don't find what I am looking for but rather other interesting stuff that I had lost at an earlier time.

    jaso37 Thanks this.

Wow, I think that is a great idea! Don't be so cynical. I don't think you HAVE to mislead, set a tone of integrity and success will follow from there. I think that could be a great opportunity for you with your knowledge and history in the industry.

I did not know you played guitar. I now get a feeling for you in your truck with your sweet little pup strumming guitar. A mellow kind of feeling. Makes me think of your purple 680 in a different kind of way:

HTQ if you like the company you are recruiting for then you will be very good at it. Just follow your heart.

passport I broke out the flashlight and moved everything from the back to the front and then front to back. I think those sunglasses grew legs. I know they will pop up but frustrating. Will go by Walmart this week and get the lens that pop over my regular pair.

HB safe travels up there. You get to Nc more than I do and I live there

    Be safe out there

Passport, I can't honestly say that I play. Yet. I rather musically inclined and I've been wanting to teach myself to play the guitar for some time so my dad gave me the one I have now and bought me a "beater" to tote around in the truck. I'm sure in a couple weeks I will have the hang of it. Up until now I've just been playing the ukulele in the truck!

Jaso, I usually don't get to the Carolinas often, partly because I have a Carolina Curse. Even if things have been going great, when I'm on a Carolina load BAM. Something goes wrong. Every single time, without fail! I do prefer to stay south of 40 though and run back and forth between Texas, Florida, Georgia, and Alabama! Above 40 there's a scary thing called winter and crazy stuff happens LOL. Up until the last few days I was in blissful denial that winter and snow even existed. Then they got me north of I40 and my little fantasy crumbled.
