Hello JungHo and everyone else. I have been busy and not been on here for a few days so had a lot of reading to catch up on.

Seems like if I am not on here for a few days I miss a lot but slowly catch back up.

I think I read Jaso lost everything but his truck , that sucks but glad he found his ring.

HB is a guitarist , that's cool !!! I have been playing since I was a teen , did the long hair rock and roll band stuff. Lots of fun HB and I both like the Avett Brothers band , you all might want to check them out on YouTube they are really good.

I hope the waiting gets better for all of you that are spending a lot of down time. That has to be the most frustrating part of trucking when you are ready to drive but just stuck somewhere.

Ever take care out there with all this winter weather coming :(

Did it snow over the weekend there, like, is snow on the ground? Seems like the New England area is usually first area to get snow.

Now, jaso, be nice. I already told you that I can't help it. I'm not as bad as some of my siblings .....they have a photographic memory. The brother that was in trucking could look at a state map and five years later was still able to tell you every city, what highways were there and the interstate exit numbers. :biggrin_25523:

I am looking over the contracts for this recruiting thing. I still have many questions that I need answered before I commit ....I am a cautious soul. It is a financially generous offer. That always makes me leery!

JungHo, I learned some basic ukulele in middle school and retaught myself recently. I also play flute, pan pipes, crystal flute, penny whistle, ocarina, and a bit of piano. Flute is the one I'm best at out of all of them, but I can play them all well enough to enjoy them very much.

Y'all really shoukd check out the Avett Brothers, BTW. Great music, easy listening for driving. :)

I'm sitting at final now and they are unloading me. I am looking forward to a shower, playing around with the guitar a bit and then SLEEP. I need to keep myself awake for a few more hours or I will destroy my regular schedule.

I have been here over 8 hours. They want $300 for the lumper fee. This seems to bother TA so I had to go back in and ask why. Cause that's what it cost is what I was told. This answer seem to satisfy TA cause then I got a PO. I told them to call and negotiate if they don't like the number

Yea, at the final. Wonder how long they will take. Tick tock, 14 hr clock is running. Started day at 0700. So time stamped with these tolls, not going to be any playing around.

I saw a little sprinkling of snow in western PA, in the shadows.

Wish this rain would make up it's mind!!! 1st, it just looks dreary, then it sprinkles, then drizzle, then flat out pours. Wonder if it's reflecting our queens mood??? Lol

HTQ, How did they find you for this recruiting gig? Companies reputable?

They tried to do that to me a couple times. Would go in, get the phone number, and send it in. Say here, you can call to find out. Now if you want ME to try and negotiate, then I expect any difference to be in my pay check.

Yeah you are right for sure as I will take this rainy weather down here in favor of snow. As a matter of fact the other half asked me yesterday (who by the way has never lived anywhere near snow) if you really have to clear off your driveway and sidewalks like you see in the movies? My response was driveway atleast if you want to go anywhere without walking. And I do believe she is now rethinking the whole smoky mountian living thing now after the kids move out.
